CEATEC: JVC HD Camcorder Concept

JVC teased us with a new HD camcorder concept at CEATEC this week.It will be able to shoot high-definition video and stills using SDHC cards. According to Engadget, JVC says that high-quality HD video and stills have yet to be done by a device. No word on price yet, but we should expect to see a release in the earlier half of 2009.
Canon already records HD video and excellent stills to CF cards with the 5D Mark II, but it cannot record to SDHC cards. However, with this camcorder, JVC could have a cheaper alternative to the already game-changing 5D Mark II. Just hope that it shoots RAWs.
