Three mobile technology products
Here are some sign-o'-the-times product designs reflecting our current occupation with mobile technology, for better or worse:
The VR3 Bluetooth Steering Wheel Console is designed to let you control your phone, hands-free, from the steering wheel. It's also ugly as sin and I'd hate to think what it would do to an airbag, but maybe a high-mileage road warrior would find the trade-off worth it.
The Bag TV is a 7' DVD player/photo viewer/MP3 player embedded in a large purse. It adds $430 to the value of the bag you're carrying around, meaning we hope you don't lose it.
Finally we have something a little more green, a portable bamboo laptop desk with a pillow on the bottom. The pillow is filled with buckwheat husks. Why? In Korea and some other parts of Asia with hot summer nights, people sleep with their head on a pillow filled with buckwheat, because air has room to circulate and the pillow doesn't get hot. In its application here, it oughta save your crotch from that uncomfortable 'laptop burn.'
Informal survey: Would you find any of these useful?
