The Frazer-Nash Namir by Giugiaro is claimed to be the worlds fastest hybrid concept, powered by 'an 814cc rotary engine driving a generator.' This setup allows the vehicle to go from 0-62mph in just 3.5-seconds, with a top speed of 187mph. Click here for first picture in gallery.

The generator charges a 400V lithium polymer battery pack that feeds electrons to a pair of electric motors at each axle with a cumulative output of 362 hp.
