Induction cooking tops are nothing new and have proved to be pretty decent technology in helping folks cook up a mean meal within minutes with less risk of burning the place down (not to mention the fact that one doesn't need to grapple with huge gas tanks in the process), but how about taking this technology to the next level? BASF’s plastic material ULTRADUR has been used in the new concept known as the Induction Iron, where the ULTRADUR’s heat resistant properties allows one to transform energy straight onto the ironing plate and nowhere else. Being cordless, an electromagnetic field will transform the energy directly and heats only the ironing plate in the process. Looks like this setup will take up more juice in the long run, or will it not?
